AUSTRALIANS LIVING IN PERTH WELCOME THEIR FIRST MEDICINAL CANNABIS CLINIC

Perth’s first medicinal cannabis clinic has been opened in Subiaco. This clinic is the fourth location in Australia and has been set up to streamline access to medicinal cannabis and help to speed up the application process. This has been welcomed by chronic pain sufferers who desperately need the treatment. However, waiting times for treatment and high costs still remain an issue. Read the article here.

A new law has been passed by the New Zealand Government which will allow terminally ill patients to access cannabis for medicinal use. The law will also allow medicinal cannabis to be manufactured in the country and exported overseas. New regulations are expected to be in place within a year.
