The aim of this retrospective chart review was to determine whether CBD can help improve sleep and/or anxiety. Based on a documentation which looked into experience of 103 patients that had used medicinal cannabis, the results show that CBD is better tolerated than prescription medications and appears to have properties that may help with anxiety and sleeping issues. However, all results must be interpreted very carefully and additional controlled trials are suggested to offer ultimate clinical guidance.
Pre-clinical studies documenting the anti-cancer effects of THC and its success in inhibiting cancer growth and spread have been on the rise.
